Even though I hate writing on people or events but something moved me today. I was able to see a thought in this small event. I accompanied my friend to one local bank. While he was busy performing formalities I was waiting in the lounge.
I waited there almost for fifteen minutes. I noticed two guys sitting on my side busy in their conversation. For most of the time I overheard them. I found one was talking in a non stop manner and another was no more than hearing to him.
The one who was listening patiently seemed to be convinced by the ideas of another. It appeared that one who is behaving as a babble box has utterly superimposed another who seemed to be a dumb. As per management specs I can say it was totally a 1-0 situation.
One thing I will ensure is that whether we win or lose, the fighting spirit should always be there.- Anil Kumble
After a moment or two my consideration worked another way, the one who was listening patiently gained a lot out of their the whole one way discussion and eventually moved with some idea into his head where as another one was completely exhausted.
For both of them the reasons of doing what they did were relative. Apparently the scenario seemed to be of loosing and winning but on the same time the moment was itself a lesson. Somewhere I was examining their listening abilities in which the winner seemed to me a looser.
